Hanekawa is a real trooper, she doesn't let stuff keep her down. She does suffer a bit more, but she get some real character growth in Second Season with the Tsubasa Tiger arc that resolves a lot of her outstanding sub plots.

She definitely goes through more suffering past Nise, but her main arc in Second Season is pretty much one of the most cathartic in the series so I'd say it's definitely worth it.

Nise arguably had the most fanservice in the entirety of the series so brace yourself (really just enjoy it for what it is and don't take it too seriously). That said, Nise also introduces one of the best (if not the best) characters in the series so it's not like it's pointless or anything.
