"Gag manga" does not mean "manga with a single gag". Humor is based on variety. It might be vaguely funny the first time Sakamoto ignores someone, it's not when it's the 50th time in a single chapter. Repeating the same gag endlessly when it really didn't work that well to begin with is bordering on absurdity, it's a shame it can't even make it that far and instead flounders in mediocrity.

Although you might occasionally see a smug pepe and laugh, the reason you're laughing is due to the unexpected nature of finding it somewhere you weren't thinking of seeing it.
