I only ever watch the intro once, and skip it every other time. Unless it's a good intro, or it changes halfway through the show.
If a series is divisible by 4, I watch it in 4 episode chunks. So I'll watch a 24 episode season in six days. Or a 12/13 episode in 3 days. Anything else gets 5 episodes a day.

I watch the daily quota first, shifting my monitor so that the door is behind. It can start at any time. Next, I watch old series on my phone before going to bed. I even bought a clamp that I can attach to my bed so that I don't have to hold it.
