I'm only 3 episodes into Sore ga Seiyuu! so far, but is there any shame in liking this more than Shirobako already?
Sure, it may not be anything special, but I like its portrayal of the awkwardness of a professional environment, especially one like this. That and its primary focus on Futaba and the other two make it feel considerably less disjointed and convoluted and more individually driven than Shirobako, even if there seemingly isn't anywhere near as much depth to it.
Futaba's adorable too.
Why would there be any shame in liking anything you fucking retard?

This.
I like that they go over quite a lot about jobs that a seiyuu might take in their job quest in finding their break.
Good taste my friend, pray the Ichigo.
Reminder that the ova is out too.

I think Sore ga Seiyuu is more charming, it feels more biographical.

Aren't the characters in Shirobako fictional? I mean the main characters.
Because SgS is biographical actually.

>Because SgS is biographical actually.
Source on that?

2/3rds of the ova was shit

The author of the manga it's based on is written by a failed seyiuu. She's basically Futaba in the story.

No, Shirobako is really boring. At least the girls in this show are cute.
>>139239387
Post cute FutaFuta!

Alright then, this is the only other picture I have of her, take good care of it.

I wish I'd known this. I should've guessed it though.

She even appears in the anime. Also, she doesn't look so failed to me, especially since she's still getting roles. Well, her last role was three or four seasons ago, but still. And she's had quite a few big roles as well.
>>139239494
Wait, she's always cute.

I'd give a grown up cucumber to Rin if you know what I mean.
I loved the seiyuu cameos.
>>139239875
That and the EDs made the show really unique.

Nagato has to accept she can't run from Taaki-chan by hiding in another series and hoping no one notices.
>>139239611
Wait, she even starred in best anime, Eiken. There's something hilarious about watching something made by a seiyuu. Man, I wish I knew all of this before watching it, since I watched it kind of halfheartedly. It was interesting and cute, but not all that great.
The info was kind of intriguing though. Like how seiyuu dub anime with just sketches/storyboards and stuff sometimes. Or how drama CD actors can be completely different from anime (Poor Futaba). I also never thought about how upsetting it must be to get a mascot character.
Now I'm making myself want to rewatch it.

Yeah, agreed. Maybe more love was put into this than I thought or could've imagined.

This you should know from other anime, but still it was properly adressed in this show. I also learned a lot, like how technologically backwards and illogical the recording process is.

SgS was definitely my favorite show of that season. It was fun and very cute.
>>139240043But Nagato, you are Taaki!
