Only as the series dragged on. Korosensei and 3-E vs Yanagisawa and Death Jr. could have been the ultimate culmination of everybody's skills and instead it was just... nothing.
But then there was Takaoka coming back, poisoning everybody, blowing up the antidote, and culminating in a death battle on top a skyscraper where he got blown out by a hand clap. Show me somebody who wasn't entertained by that bullshit and I'll show you a liar

I think it would have been more satisfying if 3-E somehow had to use everything they learned one last time to finish of Korosensei. Now it just went from being absolutely useless, to stabbing him in the heart when he was incapacitated.
Not saying the ending was bad, but I think it could have been better.

I don't know how anyone can think Korohameha was a satisfying conclusion. It's the standard manga fallback when you can't think of a more interesting way to end a conflict. Nobody used any interesting tactics or techniques, they just tentacle bitchslapped each other until one whipped out a laser beam.
