He means they ran for too many chapters, I dropped Liar Game so I wouldn't know about that but One Outs definitely didn't have that problem. One Outs kept itself fresh and interesting, it's far better than Liar Game and fuck it's so good even if the ending is sudden it's still nicely and very nicely done in my opinion.

Agreed. I remember watching the anime first, and when I started reading the manga I found the art style very weird but I quickly fell in love with it.
Definitely one of my favorite manga ever. I still liked Liar Game a lot too though.

The thing is that the part that the anime covers is very straight forward, a lot of games against different teams and that's it, it's still great though but if it had continued like that the entire manga it would've gotten boring but it didn't, the manga gets into a bunch of other entertaining shit and Tokuchi's master plan only keeps unraveling more and more. This entire arc for example was great and very funny.
