This last arc it seems that it has started to become less of a Naruto clone. It has been doing crazy well in the rankings and will likely get in anime within the next year and a half.
Its a fun shonen battle manga in a saturated market where nearly every topic has been done before, yet BC is working somehow and is appealing to kids and adults.
Im enjoying the ride and seeing people hate it for being popular is amusing because it is only succeeding more and more.

Black Clover isn't original or smart, but it's really entertaining.
Yeah everything it does has been done before, but it's still done well. Overall the series has a lot of potential what with different kinds of magic, different, feuding kingdoms, looming threat of demons and cultists, etc.
