I rewatched the first two cours a year ago to get ready for the return, which was pretty much a necessity, and made me appreciate that Narita's storytelling isn't quite as chaotic as it looks like on first watch.

I only watched S1 all at once years after it aired.
It's one of the best examples of storytelling I've ever seen. The way everything is woven is really difficult to appreciate at a rate of 24 minutes/once a week.

Meh ending. The gang drama seemed pretty pointless. Celty losing her head again after she has just gotten it back also isn't very creative.
This series was fantastic, but there was a TON of shit that I had trouble keeping track of given the week by week basis. I feel like I'll have a lot more fun marathoning DRRR than watching it weekly. Overall, fantastic. 8/10

honestly she was the weakest written character in the show. Her whole parasite deal was fine in the first season but they kept bringing it up even in the 11th hour when 100x more interesting things were happening. I loved this series to the end. I wish there was something else like it I could follow with as much character, charisma, and just heart. I don't feel it exist however. It's either slice of life animes with girls, or garbage. I think Book of Friends kind of felt like it was in place with this, but Book of Friends lacked build ups/consistently was boring. Seriously if anyone knows any other anime like this I need it.
