As much as people complain about Toei I don't think there is any other studio that would have invested in a 50+ episode adaptation of World Trigger. At best we would have gotten a 12 episode season that covered up to Yuma joining Border then if we were lucky we'd get another season covering the invasion arc. What I really love about WT is that it has a big amount of character and all of them are defined and not simply introduced and thrown away after a few "important" actions of them.
