It's funny how an otherwise pretty good show was completely killed by a couple shitty episodes in the middle.
Did the anime do so badly it killed the novels too? As far as I can tell despite 11 volumes being release between 2009 and 2013 and apparently not being finished, there hasn't been anything since.

SHAFT practically does not want to acknowledge having ever made this anime though. They just shoehorn monogatari or madoka as their main crowning achievement in front of their less popular shows. Nothing wrong with that, but it just saddens Salamifags who want more shit outta the show.
