Komugi and Koyori were much more entertaining characters than Komugi and Kokona. And not just them, every single "returning" character was better in the OVA than in the TV series, because they all had their personalities toned down and made blander. The only exception is Yuuto/Kyousuke, and that's only because the TV anime created a new character, Tsukasa, and developed his character alongside her. She should have been the MC.

And don't get me wrong, I didn't hate this anime, I just liked the OVA more.
