Kujiragi split the saika in two, kept one part, and gave the other to Shingen (or at least Nebula), which Shingen used to cut Celty's head.
Shingen then sold the saika to Sonohara-dou (Anri's father, who owns an antique shop).

You should figure out the rest. (mother gets possessed by Saika, becomes the original slasher, possibly slashes Niekawa, then dies, Anri gets her saika)

I'm still unclear how the Saika's reproduce. Does every zombie get their own? I was under the impression you needed a physical Saika. Shinra just had Kujiragi's at the end because she gave it to him when he asked for it.

Haven't seen the last episode, but I personally haven't been into the show as much after the first season. Too many unimportant storylines (perhaps this is the fault of the medium with anime vs. novels), especially with Mikado.
