That's not the point. You like many others are missing that this anime is not a mystery where you are expected to figure out what's going on. It's a suspense thriller where you're one step ahead of the characters and you know what's going to happen and see how the characters react to situations.

Gaku was my favorite character even tough I always feared that he was the killer but I just hoped I was wrong somehow. I just tried to forget his semi-fake nice character later but now in the last episode I liked him again. I am not sure how to feel. Why couldn't they just let him stay unlikeable after the reveal?
