Just finished this series. Kind of an abrupt ending. Was it canceled?
Nase a cute. A CUTE!
Now dumping enough spaghetti to feed a regiment.
Christmas cake in the baking
SIXTEEN YEARS OLD
I think this was the first manga I read, back when I had to buy SJ in order to read manga.

>Kind of an abrupt ending.
The epilogue chapters helped make up for it though.
>>139108054
I remembered reading some of it in Jump's monthly US issues, years ago. Around the part where Yuki was cheating.
>Babe, are YOU thirsty?

S-So the masseuses wear sailor outfits?

>I'm the only one who'll play. He's just here to watch.
I will say I didn't learn much about how to play from the manga. It was mostly driven by character drama.
I seriously hope you guys don't do this.
Future cat lady, but with Go
Kinda sad the series ended withoutbringing him and his mom closer, after a little attempt toward the end. Also Akari never showed back up.
For my next trick, I'll dump the latest chapter of AKB49.
What was his name again?
I remember reading that a couple years ago
I stopped around volume 20-something because the library didn't have all the books. I always wondered what happened but I haven't gotten around to reading it online.

It ends at 23 volumes, so you're pretty close.

>Akari
She died man. She had to. Hikaru just gave no fucks.
>>139109915
Yuki Mitani.
Man, this was my favorite. A pity that the scans became complete garbage. Also that fucking ending. Sai is gone, he shouldn't have been whispering across time and space.
>If you filter out yaoi and rule 63, 99% of the Gelbooru porn is of Hikaru's mom and the cougar salon clerk
Huh.
Looks like Akari and Nase got a decent number of doujins though.
I stopped when that white haired guy was introduced and was gonna be the third member of the team before the final tournament. It just started to get really stale afterSai's death.
I don't ever remember reading any stories that featured side characters, but it was a long time ago since I've re-read Hikaru No Go.
I was pretty salty with the direction the writing went since the author in my opinion had great character building, yet the series ended prematurely

Vol 18 was all side stories.
I kinda wish they'd draw a gaiden story about all the AlphaGo hype going on
>>139113997
Is that where the the arc of that one insei who went to China came from in the anime? Because that just completely killed my enjoyment of the show. It just went on way too fucking long.
>>139115060
That was vol 16, in the time Hikaru quit for a while.
>>139109422
Why?
>>139114388
I didn't know what you were talking about so I had to look it up, but I'm glad I did. Thanks for mentioning it.

But damn. I wonder how Sai would have played against AlphaGo?

That hair looks like a pain to draw.
This was probably my first manga that I read. I remember reading it from Toriyama's world, also downloaded Naruto from there when they scanlated.
Never finished it thought and probably never will since I heard the ending is kind of bad.
>>139116107
Watching the matches and commentators was neat, even though I knew next to nothing about the game. I picked up Hikaru no Go in hopes of learning more about the rules.
>>139116192
I just realized it's like Tatsumaki's hair, but shorter.
>>139109175
Learning go really changes nothing. It's not like FKMT's mahjong where game knowledge changes the experience. There's almost no real game content in the series.
>>139111470
Yeesh, not girly enough.
>>139107919
Where did you get such high quality scans?
>>139120039
It was a torrent, presumably a rip of Viz's digital release.

My trap senses are usually good, but this one really rustled my jimmies.
