Series that are at least 5 years or older tend to prune out in such a way that only one or two subgroups stay seeded, and it's usually the highest quality one, like coalgirls.
I notice that chihiro and gg are the fastest subgroups to die out if anyone else did the same show that season.
Commie subs stay seeded pretty much forever.
