The fuck is Ussop's problem? Luffy is telling him that this inanimate object couldn't do its job anymore and by attempting to fix it would put everyone's life at risk.
Nevermind that Luffy and the others beat the shit out of the Franky senpai, nevermind that it was Ussop's fault in the first place, they were sailing on the grand line, they cant afford to have it broke in the middle of the ocean

He was upset they wanted to get a new ship because he lost the money to get repairs, then he was upset because he didn't think they cared about the ship and what they've been through.
Side note the ship was made on his home island so maybe he was also home sick.
One Piece isn't that complex breh. The gift was a gift from his waifu, and he spent the most time taking care of it. Also he felt insecure because he was weak and if they can leave behind useless companions where does that leave him?

At that point, Ussops feelings of inadequacy had been building, and, after losing the repair money, reached critical mass when Luffy decided to move on from the Merry. Basically, him losing the repair money (and thus, in his mind, the Merry) "proved" to him that he was an outcast by being a "useless weakling" in a crew of monsters.
From there, everything was kind of piling onto him, and eventually pride prevented him from turning back as the reality of the Merrys damage became apparent. He alienated himself from the crew, and all he had left was that ship; he couldn't accept that it was done, especially considering the emotional attachment he had to it due to its origin.

Usopp was upset at luffy for willing to toss away merry, but he was just using that as an excuse to get himself out of the crew because he felt he was a major hindrance to them.
