Finishing the whole Kayo story too fast and it being creepy as fuck, don't get me wrong, I fucking loved the whole kayo deal but at the end, it's a 29 years old guy trying to seduce a little girl, I would've liked it more if the whole story happened while they were kids and they made it so Satoru time traveled like a week after the trials, his mother getting killed by the assassin when she figures it out could be kept and used as the trigger for the Revival shenanigans. The show was great when the focus was on Kayo and Satoru's relationship and trying to save a victim of child abuse while you are yourself a child. Once she left the picture and it began to focus more strongly on the overall investigation it just went downhill because they didn't know how to make the investigation or the perpetrator interesting or surprising at all.
