Aoi is pure perfection. I love her.
It's very charming in it's own way. Not much happens but the anime making process is interesting. It has a lot of characters and all of them are solid. If you're an "I fell asleep watching Hyouka" kinda guy you should just go watch a baby anime with explosions and titties.

I found their inner conflicts a little too monotonous or poorly set up, but they're not bad characters. I feel like Zuka's arc could've been good with the constant setbacks that could wring out potent story events that reveal frustration or character that contradicts her surface qualities, but it wasn't that kind of story. Maybe it's idealized vision of the industry held it back a bit. Shirobako is well worth a watch, though, and I'd say it's the best anime that aired in 2015. Just don't expect to be blown away.

I found it pretty informative as to what goes on into the day to day of creating anime and getting it airing add in cute characters and personal problems and you've got a great show.

It is great and worth watching. The easy happy ending for everyone seem like an asspull though. Should has season 2 to conclude the character arc.
