Soredemo, Koufuku were good shaft adaption. Vampire Bund was alright I personally liked it but you cant blame shaft when the author himself gave them freedom for the ending. Koufuku was plagued by Okada but nevertheless animation and story wise it was great. Soredemo had no real story and shaft made it episodic like they always have done. They have a pretty good track record for manga over light novel. Now if you said Gonzo I would agree with you.

The adaptation of Graffiti just wasn't accurate. The manga has a Sketchbook/Tamayura light with food feel. Shaft didn't capture the SoL well and slapped their typical Bake visual direction template that is honestly the antithesis of SoL/comfy directing. As far as Shaft adaptations go this is the closest one to 3gatsu. I don't see them adapting this very well.

They fucked up big time when Chiaki Kon took over, messed around with pacing and omitted a lot of chapters. I thought there was a gap while watching, that they were going through things too quickly and I was shocked to be proven right with the manga.
