It is like asking why no one scanned Comiket doujins from the 1980s or 1990s.

It is because everyone had shit internet back then and scanners weren't so mainstream back then that everyone could even afford one.

The only people I can speculate to having a collection of Comiket doujins since the year Comiket was founded is the Comiket organization committee because ever since Comiket was founded, one of the rules of the committee was that participates must submit a sample of the work they plan to sell to gain approval.

This is to prevent scams or potential trouble with the police since occasionally every couple of years, cops have visited Comiket in the past to do a raid on just one person or two and fine them for doing shit like selling uncensored wafiu pillows like what happened with Tony Taka.

He was selling big uncensored waifu pillow covers and the cops ended up fining him. He was probably chosen as a target because of his high visibility, unfortunately.

Anyways, the Comiket Committee keeps the samples and they really have no reason to throw away the samples so someone among the Committee must be hoarding a bunch of sample doujins and refusing to share with us.

Only way we can ever find out the truth is some /a/non manages to worm his way into the Comiket committee and leak the goods.
