don't regret it at all, the anime does leave some stuff out from the chapters it covers, but its a fucking awesome anime

Watching the anime first then reading the manga is the superior path for appreciation. If you read the manga first the anime would probably seem off to say the least. I haven't watched the movies, they aren't even on my backlog

I don't think you'd be shit on for thinking that. Maybe by a contrarian. It makes sense for Berserk to have an English version and they did a good job. I mean, it could have been a lot better in the anime but it was the 90s so you can't expect much. They used the same cast in the movies so it shows how much the VAs have improved.
