The year is 6000. Over two thousands years since a biological world war which almost destroyed the entire planet, now what was once fantasy is now reality. Magic is real, giant monsters roam the earth and people live in giant, fantastical cities created through both magic and technology. Despite the year, humanity has only recently recovered in the last few hundred years, leaving them more or less in a weird late renaissance type era of technological advancement.
People, now despite their new magical powers, increased physical abilities and the now alliance of the 7 Intelligent races, monsters, misuse of magical power and abilities pose a huge threat to society in general. Because of this threat, the Hunters Guild was established -- Originally to combat monsters in general, the Hunters now take on a wide array of jobs.
These jobs range from Historical Archiving and retrieval wherein Hunters will raid the tombs or ruins of the once ancient civilizations to find ancient technology to Monster Hunting wherein Hunters will hunt and kill monsters that pose a large enough threat that the military of said nations cannot deal with to odd jobs for hire wherein they could range from generic body guarding to finding a purse snatcher.
The story would follow an elf born to a powerful tribe of monster tamers who was kicked out of his tribe for taming a dark beast. A Dragon. Told whether to choose banishment or the death of his monster, he chooses to save the dragon and leave the tribe to become a Hunter.
Only it doesn't go that well, after only barely passing the Hunters exam, despite having a literal dragon, even if a baby dragon, he and his new friend keep getting the shit tier jobs dropped on them while only barely having enough money to feed themselves week after week.
It'd probably end up being a generic Shounen Adventure series.
In avatar universe, bending ability always causes wars, the avatar desperately seal the connection between human and spirit world this action cost his life. Then, every bending ability disappear and the avatar isn't reborn. The world goes as it is.
Then, comes this modern era. When technology advances and people completely forget about element bending.

I just wanted a Punisher series in medieval fantasy type world. I chose a priest because I thought it most suited the whole punisher them when you take into account the cliche Battle Priest Arche-Type "Hurr durr PURGE KILL"
Having lost her home to a fire, a young girl moves to her grandparents' home in Miyazaki, Kyushu.
Upon transferring, she decides to join the popular Volunteer Fighting Club, without knowing what it was. Activities included shooting, driving, and operating military equipment. She thought it was fun and she made lots of friends.
Her club and all its members were then selected to participate in a nationwide competition. Everyone was excited.
The year was 1945.

Sci-Fi setting.
Space Travel is something so casual now that most have some sort of deep space ship.
In this universe, trillions of people are living, although all on different planets. The closer a planet is to The Alliance home planet (the birth place of the end of the planetary wars), the more wealthy and happy the general populace is.
However, the outer planets considered to be in the "dead zone" live in slums with no law to be had. No medicine and are generally given terrible living conditions -- they are forced to slave away for a simple living with almost no chance at moving off planet to a better planet.
The story would follow a man who made it off one of these planets by becoming a doctor, though chooses to spend his time travelling around the dead zone healing the people in these planets attempting to protect them and get them off planet.
It's in this time he meets a young boy and takes a liking to him, and chooses to adopt him.
It would follow their strange adventures in the dead zone.
It'd essentially be Usagi Drop, but without the romance / incest ending. Just happy feels and father son bonding in space.

Guy tries to find his childhood friend who he promised to marry. He eventually finds her brother, who arranges date between them, they hit it off and start dating, but eventually MC finds out that the person who made promise with him wasn't the girl, but actually her brother.

In a world where psychics known as Abilitators mysteriously arise. Some individuals were normals before their powers manifest. Others have it since their birth. Either way the origins of the Abilitators remain a mystery and governments simply focused research towards either weaponizing them or developing weaponry specifically to counter them. Because of their presence, various Abilitators either become either heroes, vigilantes or soldiers for the government.
MC is a normal only for his powers to manifest on his 18th birthday. His ability enables him to see the trajectories of projectiles, enabling him to know precisely where to be to dodge bullets. With the high rate of crime in his city, he decides to become a local superhero, facing off against other Abilitators, Private Corporations and eventually come across other Abilitators who whilst sharing his goals, differ in their principle.
Apart from all this, there's also a wider social scope where the support for Abilitator rights as human persons are pitted against anti Abilitator views and policies. A debate which the actions of MC and the other Abilitators can either shift the weight of opinion to either side.
As MC hones his skills throughout the series, his ability will even enable to make his own body a projectile and see vulnerable hit spots on his opponents and the trajectory he must take to strike at them. Because of the nature of his abilities, he also dual wield two pistols as his primary weapons. Eventually it is not the pistols that are his weapons but he himself as his proficiency grows.

Not exactly an anime idea and more of a character arche-type I really like.
The Delinquent Hero type. Think Knuckle from Hunter X Hunter. Looks like the typical Delinquent. Is honourable hero who will cry at the slightest happy moment.
Maybe an anime with a bunch of those characters that are avoided because of what they look like, but are actually heroes who save the world on a daily basis. A weird action comedy.
A sci-fi fantasy at the end of World War II where Adolf Hitler commits suicide, ending the war.
Meanwhile at a hidden NSDAP research facility hidden in Antarctica, the MC, who's an older teenager with an astounding intellect and his research team are carrying out Adolf Hitler's final order, a top secret task to "find the other side", said to be his last words to the MC. With very little to go on the research team somehow manages to create a portal to another world, using Magicka, a secret manipulative power discovered and kept hidden by the NSDAP many years before.
Entering this fantasy world, the research team are completely oblivious. They soon get pulled into a political mess as a fascist medieval regime with beliefs oddly similar to the NSDAP, only to discover the Adolf Hitler himself is at the head of this medieval fantasy kingdom and had been secretly living two lives, where he's practically a God-like dictator, and in fact his original life is in this fantasy world; his goal being all along to tear down the walls between Earth and this world, by conquering both worlds.
The MC finally starts to realize that Hitler's an absolute madman who abuses his status as a deity and Magicka and only wants to conquer both worlds to deprive them of the energy within the planets' cores to reach absolute dominance over reality. The MC must use his smarts to adapt to this fantasy world and stop Hitler, while secretly putting on a facade of still be loyal.
Meanwhile, in the shadows even darker forces seem to lurk, possibly pulling the strings on both sides.

Then everyone who was mean to him in high school dies. He learns a magic spell from a really obscure anime that can kill bullies and he takes his just revenge on the normies.
Then he gets transported into his favorite MMO and he defeats the Demon King that wanted to destroy the real world with his super video gaming skills.
In the finale he meets a cute witch and she turns him into a little girl.

I saw this a few threads ago.
A dystopian future where the vast majority of mankind chose to spend the rest of their days in virtual reality, while robots maintain their bodies. Some people have bee in virtual reality for over a century without waking up. In these virtual realities people are free to create their own world and fantasy and do whatever they want, oblivious to anything happening in reality. People can make up their own friends, make up their own worlds, make up their own histories, and live however they please.
This has caused the degradation of society as there's nobody left to maintain. Plants overgrow and wrap around cities. The few people that didn't choose to enter Virtual Reality are completely irrelevant. Society's crumbled as billions of people lay dormant, indulging in their dreams.
However, humanity's oblivious to an impending doom that has the potential to destroy Earth, destroy them, and thus destroy their eternal fantasies. A massive celestial object is on a collision course with Earth and will hit in the matter of weeks, and there's nobody around to do anything about it.
The super computer (main character) maintaining the people in virtual reality must get the people to wake up, but will they? People don't want to be swiped away from their deepest desires. The super computer hops between peoples' fantasies, from vast epic fantasy worlds at war, to slice of lifes, to sci-fis in space to convince people that they need to wake up. The main cast grows and grows as the computer convinces people to wake up.
The computer also takes the form of a loli as it/she hops between fantasies and learns emotion, friendship, and how to be human as she travels and experiences what people want.

A Demon bored with his life decides to, instead of killing humans, pretend to be one and live as a human.
At first it starts off as something innocent to kill time to prove he can live as a human better than anyone else. Slowly he realizes just how difficult it can be. Meeting decent, good people that show him kindness, he also has difficulty containing his demonic ways and slaughtering anyone who angers him after being publicly shamed by a noble knight after he attempts to start a merchant business to raise his standing in society quickly. He forces himself not to slaughter the noble man and his family after he realizes that, that's not what any normal human would do. Instead accepting the embarrassment and choosing to become an adventurer instead because his abilities lie more in killing. His first inclination is to "cheat" and use his demon powers to become the best most "noble" and "heroic" knight in the entire world as an adventurer.
On his first quest, he travels out into the forest alone and sees a group of other adventurers being attacked by goblins. Realizing this is his big break to get everyone to see him as a "heroic" knight, he rushes in only for the group to kill the goblins before his arrival. Noticing one of them has been hurt, he decides not to let this chance pass him up and goes over and heals the other adventurer. Instantly realizing his mistake -- that only one kind of magic can be used per person normally. The group thank him and instantly invite him to their party as the healer, with no where else to go, and with the realization that he can't just kill anyone who inconveniences him, he unwillingly accepts the invitation to the rookie adventurers party.
Now stuck as a healer in a low tier party, he travels the world with a group of barely teens dreading his life as a human and too stubborn to give up on his game or return to the underworld for fear of the other demons mocking him.

A samurai drama thriller focused on character interactions.
The MC's a lone, accomplished samurai out for vengeance after being orphaned as a child, completing throwing the samurai code of honour to the side to accomplish what he wants. For many episodes he's just travelling between village to get leads and run into people.
He thinks he has the people who killed his parents pinned down, a criminal organization stationed many days west away from Kyoto on the country-side, and goes there. He makes quick work of the criminals, largely because he was born with the power to perceive things much more quickly, at an inhumane level even. To him, everything he sees is in slow motion. To other people, they see a man with absurd reflexes.
When he finally has his blade against the leader of the criminal gang's throat, for the first time in his life he finds somebody with strange powers too. This person, the gang leader, however has the power to read peoples' most outward, loudest, most expressive thoughts and tells the MC that he had nothing to do with his parents' dying.
The MC then sets off alone once more, aimlessly trying to find clues and running into a few more people with these strange powers whom have nothing to really do with eachother. One of these people he comes across is a QT tsundere tags along with him, she has the power to teleport within a small radius. They fall in love.
Some shenanigans with her happen though when she says she wants to meet the Empress of Nippon, and so she and the MC head there and some crazy things happen which lead up to a big reveal that the MC's parents never died, the empress is his mother and just gave him up to protect him, and that everybody with these strange powers are siblings. Essentially the MC's been fucking his sister without knowing.
Their father turns out to be a mysterious Demon who's been fucking the empress of Japan, giving their 9 children strange powers, and mysteriously disappeared.

The empress of Japan requests the MC and his sister waifu to group together the other siblings and flee far away because demons are planning to seize the siblings for their powers, thinking that the demon father's disappearance is an act of war declared by the Japanese.
The MC and his gang of super power siblings don't flee though, and instead march through the gates of the underworld, where the truth is revealed that their father's soul was split into each of them, giving them their powers, and that their father was the prince of the underworld. The MC and his brothers and sisters take on the demons, finding both allies and enemies in Japan, and in the Underworld.
A woman and her son travel the post-apocalyptic wastes, looking for a way to survive.
Twist: The son is actually the robot who caused the apocalypse.
Double-twist: The woman is a magical girl from a parallel universe!

MC's a QT witch who's lived since the beginning of time by passing her soul onto different bodies as they grew old. The body she now inhabits is currently the CEO of a company who has a monopoly spanning across the entire globe, and in a sense she has the most powerful politicians wrapped around her finger.
Hijinks ensue after she secretly rules the world by bribing politicians, enlisting childish laws and treating the world as her toybox. She feels disconnected from people because she's lived for eons, seeing them as her personal playthings.
The animu's pretty much a comedy/slice of life/shonen where she's living in the world's tallest skyscraper giving commands to politicians and shit and looking down watching absurd chaos ensue, and her dealing with people she forced to be her friends, and her employees.. She's a kid and the world is her toybox.
The last few episodes stray away from the slice of life format though, conspiracy theorists uncover that her company is behind this mess which sparks a rebellion.
It turns into her company, and politicians, versus regular civilians
She never learns from her mistakes though, and the rebellion finally overthrows her. The last episode has her executed, and it's played out to look like she is murdered. The last few seconds though pretty much confirms that she swapped her bodies with the executioner at the last second and then the animu ends.
It gets a season 2 where she ends up destroying society.

Neo-Noir Detective Series complete with Max Payne tier cheesy internal monologue, Slow Jazz and long shots of the city.
The story would follow a rookie detective partnered with the man that raised him after his parents were murdered. After being adopted by the older detective, he worked every single day until exhaustion to find the kids parents murderer. After about a year, he finds him.
Because of this, the kid treats the old man like a god and wanted to be exactly like him.
The story would be split in two parts. Father / Son top tier bonding and banter. And Investigation of a Serial Killer by the two detectives.
A pseudo-intellectual mecha animu taking place in the year 2022 where humanity commits an unspeakable war crime/genocide in World War 3. God denounces Humanity's sins and declares war, bringing massive floods, famines, diseases, pestilences, and death.
Humanity fights back and declares war on God. They persevere the floods, they solve the famines, they cure diseases and pestilences, and are soon about to unlock a disasterous technology that could prevent death.
Angels come to Earth in massive constructs to try to stop this technology from happening, while trying to purge humans.
They are met with retaliation by the New World Order's mighty mechs.
The MC's a mech pilot with a vengeance on God. His mother died in a great flood.

A weird combination of Samurai Champloo and Sword of the Stranger.
A disgraced Samurai becomes a monk and puts down his sword, learns martial arts and eventually takes on an apprentice - an orphan who acts out and causes problems all the time. They (the Monk) decide to travel the world and help people.
The world in which they travel is much like ours, but with monsters, magic and strange factions and organizations (think Hunter X Hunter). After realizing how difficult it is to travel the world and help people with the little money they have, they join the Adventurers guild which gives them free travel arrangements and free beds in cities with an adventurers guild, while allowing them to keep making a living by completing 'jobs'.
It would have no real goal or story and mostly just follow their adventures in strange lands and their missions.
The old monk would be carefree, lazy and place too much trust in people, generally causing them to screw up from time to time. Despite that would be incredibly strong, although never get serious unless his apprentice was in trouble.
The kid would be angry and act out all the time. Despite this however, he would be incredibly intelligent and do most of the negotiations.
The MC's a grill who runs a shop in a fictional feudal era japananese city with her best friends who are also grills.
They sell things to people and soldiers and shit.

Ok, I'll spice it up a bit. The whole thing is actually all a plot by alien werewolves.
I'm thinking about something like a modern day/sci-fi fantasy setting, where the two worlds are mostly separate in the beginning. The story revolves around the circumstances as these worlds are brought closer together after the human MC was chosen by a mysterious power and awakened to magic. Like with most chosen ones, he's been given a mission or prophecy that he's supposed to carry out in the otherworld.
Unfortunately, his power is nothing special and his prophesied role is that of the villain and most forces would either want to stop him or consume his soul to take his place. While his awakened magic places him above the average human, it's nothing special to those who were born to it. If anything, he's worse off because his mind was never prepared for the rush of power or altered awareness which left him manic and irritable, seeing things most humans can't, and noticeably detached from common reality, manners, and sense. His only advantages is that the powers don't know who he is yet and his guide, a blatantly unscrupulous and overconfident goblin-like girl who thinks he'd be more useful to her alive.
The story follows the two of them as they grow into their villainous roles in their efforts to elude their pursuers and fight back, starting out at the bottom as rather petty criminals but swiftly becoming something of a cartoonish supervillain duo with all their shared flair for the dramatic and other personal flaws. The maniacal and somewhat comical lighthearted villain with a nasty streak and his openly scheming and treacherous cohort who is too impulsive to properly backstab the MC. Together they manage to pull off some shit, have fun, escape defeat, swear revenge, and get that revenge.
Second act is after they become proper overlords with armies, controlling or having strong influence over vast territories of the Earthly and supernatural realms as they leak together. So begins the Age of Heroes as more humans attain power and monsters roam the world.
For a long time it's been agreed that the center of Earth was a large iron core. This agreement is completely shattered when scientists manage to finally dig down to the core, only to discover an unimaginably large beating heart in the center of the world, shaking everything Mankind's known about Earth down to its very core.
And mysteriously of all, this massive heart is in an ridiculously large cavern, and in this cavern is a sprawling metropolis of cultists who defend and maintain this heart, who have never seen the surface of Earth even once.
The greatest minds in the world come together to try and learn what the fuck this is. Meanwhile, colonies on Mars also discover that the dormant Mars itself has a massive heart and its center, however it isn't beating, which is assumed to correlate to why Mars is inactive.
Strange occurrences happen, as many scientists, politicians, and theologians who have been big names in solving this mystery are assassinated one by one, with nobody to blame.
The MC is a scientist who used to be a soldier. He is almost assassinated due to his studies on this heart, but his skill allowed him to survive and identify his attackers as people wearing white garbs and red masks over their faces. Thinking that finding this group of assassins will help him in unlocking the secrets of these hearts on various planets, the MC takes matters in his hands to find out who they are and track them down in a suspenseful sci-fi mystery drama. His friends and family get involved in the sense that their lives are threatened if the MC continues "putting his nose in affairs above his understanding".
Does he continue, knowing that the people he loves' lives are on the line?

The MC and the other Abilitators wouldn't be so powerful to the point of Toaru or Superman levels.
They are still vulnerable to bullets if they are not careful enough and can be disabled through the use of specialized grenades that emit soundwaves that distort their brain patterns.
MC's ability merely presents him with information. MC can be vulnerable if he is worn out or is facing against fast moving opponents since he must lock onto the weapon or projectile itself before being able to see where it lands.
Generally the idea is to have strong powers yet vulnerable at the same time. Something along the lines of Quantum Break where while the time powers are strong, the user is still vulnerable.
