Why can't I like mushi-shi? I've tried my damned hardest to fucking appreciate this anime after 13 episodes and I just can't do it.
I can't feel any emotion with Ginko and I think he's one boring character. It doesn't help that he's basically the only character I'm watching forever since it's episodic. I'm not even a big fan of an episodic series anyhow besides Gintama.
what the fuck am i missing to like this anime
I agree with op

Well, I actually really like Ginko as a character so thats probably the main problem you've got.
This is also one of the only episodic series I like so I can understand that, but usually the stories presented are so interesting/compelling I'm able to give it a pass.
Do you appreciate the scenery? The setting? Does the idea of what a mushi really is and how they work interest you?
If there's really nothing that makes you want to learn more or watch the next episode I think that's the point where you decide the show just isn't for you senpai.

taste
Just as it's ok to enjoy some bad things, it's ok to not-enjoy some good things, as long as you recognize you're a fag and that ginko is perfect.
At a certain point you just have to accept that people have different tastes and no series is universally enjoyable. You don't need to justify it.

What the fuck, just enjoy the human and mushi drama.
