Been reading a lot of Lupin Manga recently, and I'm curious to why Fujiko is constantly being raped by different people. It seems like Lupin tells her to find a specific person and kill him, but the plan always backfires and she always ends up being raped by that person. It's almost like it's bound to happen and she still allows herself to let it happen without much of a fight, and then Fujiko runs back to Lupin and the both of them act like it never happened.

That's because you lack taste. That particular dub is fun and still follows the story close enough to where it's doesnt seem that ridiculous. All it really did differently was try to make it a little more appealing for the english speaking audiences who werent concerned about it being the same as the Japanese version
As for the voices they were perfect.
Lupin sounded goofy and upbeat like his character should be
Jigen sounded deep voiced and badass like his character should be
Goesmon sounded like how a generic samurai would sound like he should be
Fujiko sounded like a sexy whore like she should be
and Zenigata sounded like a goofball like his character should be
The dub was great compared to the streamline dub.

He's been around before Lupin yet his only work prior was other anime roles which isnt the best way to become a good voice actor especially in the 90's. He wasn't properly trained, but when you hear him now, he's gotten really good at it.
Bob Bergan has a good voice for the character but if the scripts are bad then what's the point. There's a reason why the streamline dub is almost unwatchable compared to the manga dub (which was david hayter instead of tony oliver) it's because they half assed those scripts. That's why I'd take Tony over Porky Pig any day. Maybe if Bob played Lupin in the Geneon dub instead it'd be a different story but even then I'm not entirely sure if he would of been as consistent with the role as Tony. If you have ever heard Bob talk about the character, he clearly knows nothing about him which could affect the performance in a bad way and play the character how he shouldnt be played.

I don't particularly find the Geneon script to be that good, since it's also riddled with dumb hyperbole and changing certain lines albeit to a much lesser degree.
If I had to choose between the two I'd pick Geneon, but my preferred way of watching red jacket and CoC will always be the original Japanese.

I completely agree. I never said the geneon script was great, just isn't atrocious like the streamline scripts. I'd also say i'd rather watch red jacket sub, but I'd always prefer the dub of Cagliostro over the original despite Yasuo Yamada being the one and only Lupin.

I just wish the figure would have brown hair like in the anime instead of black. I'm not totally sold on the fact that the lips are sculpted on instead of it being painted which gives it sort of an odd look, but i'm still getting it regardless. Nah, it's not the only Lupin DVD I've got. I also own Castle of Cagliostro, Mystery of Mamo, Twilight Gemini, Fuma Conspiracy, and a few of the old Pioneer Lupin DVDs.
I bought Dragon of Doom and Twilight Gemini together at a small local convention mainly because they were the only bits of Lupin media I could find.

Well i have the First and Final Haul boxsets of all the funimation dubbed Lupin movies and they are basically in super thin cheap cases and are either black or white with a small cover in the front. Nothing gets worse than that.
It's whatever though They're only covers after all. I did recently buy the Blu Ray of Castle of Cagliostro that Discotek put out, and it has a beautiful cover. Probably the best Blu Ray I own.
