Eh I don't exactly remember all the details but isn't that a pretty good pace and for a one hour special? I get the feeling the adaption might be pretty decent afterall. Will still have to watch the episode myself to be sure though.

The studio isn't known for rushed adaptations. Heck, there was even a time that they used an 8-page 4koma manga chapter and spread it into a full 24min episode.
