Oh, certainly, this happy ending was not without its hiccups. On occasion, even now, Lise would have strange nightmares and cry out Theo's name, hugging him tightly. All he needed to do in those moments was pet her head, and it was like she was back to normal.
Sometimes, she'd wrap er arms around him and insist that he reaffirm his promise to her, that they would always be together forever and ever, and give her a kiss to show that he meant it. Of course he did, do you take him for a bad big brother who would abandon his sister?
It was all thanks to those ribbons. With that little gift, they were able to change everything for the two of them. Lise promised she would never part from them again with a big smile on her face, with not a tear in her eyes.
