I don't know man, to me it looks pretty interesting. And I don't think that design was made for the movie, in which it evolves into Alphamon for some reason, which would normally be Grademon's honor. His original evolution does it some justice by evolving AWAY from the edgy bishonen-line bullshit, for once. Although it is more humanoid, not enough for it to look like a dude with a dragon head. Kind of looks like Bahumut from FF, which works pretty well IMO. No, haven't looked at DQMJ3 yet because the begging and crying isn't completely done in the Dragon Quest franchise yet. 7 and 8 aren't enough. Until we get 7 remake on mobile and DQM1/2/J3 on 3DS i won't get my hopes up.

Incorporating more pokedex-based lore would be nice. Actually, keep the main series exactly as it is but make a spin-off aimed at the old fans who grew up that starts it's own new continuity based more on the pokedex-lore. Give me a kid who threw out a doll only to be later murdered by the newly formed banette. Give me a boy with psychic powers waking up suddenly transformed into KADABRA. Because you are supposed to play one or two pokemon game and move on, letting the next generation of kids get into it, this is how the franchise is designed and its a great success mostly thanks to it.

Even Vaccine is a corpse. Still has the decaying wings, the exposed metal bits under his skin in certain areas (most notably the tail), and that extendable arm can only mean that his real arm was removed. Also the giga destroyer missiles are as long as the distance between the front of his chest and his back, so for them to exist inside him he has to be hollow at least in that area. Dont know much about dinosaur anatomy but one would assume thats where the lungs and heart are located. Dead eyes still.
Also WarGreymon. In the one or two times his front chest plate was damaged (Adventure, first Piedmon battle after LadyDevimon), we get to see that he's still hollow on the inside from his MetalGreymon days. And during the warp evolution sequence, his eyes are empty before they turn on. WarGreymon is mechanical.
