Both OP and ED are terrible. Whatever happened to that cute song from the earlier PV? Animation seems decent, unless it's cherry-picked for the trailer. There seem to be yuri implications (unless the gray haired tomboy is actually a boy).

The story centers around class 1-7 of Tennogofune Academy, where all the students with "bad karma" or misfortune seem to have been gathered. Hibari, a student in this class, meets the unlucky Hanako and the perennially unhealthy Botan on her first day of school, and together they try to find a way to turn their school life into a happy one.

Probably not, I'll first watch the first anime episodes, and if they're enjoyable enough, I might read the manga chapters wherever they might be available.

Searching for the full title Unhappy Go Lucky, I found nothing.
The majority will have to wait out until the first episode airs to see if it's to their liking.
