That's probably true, but I still wonder how the hell divine magic works in the NW without actual gods. Is it based on belief or, like Ainz suggested, are the "gods" just pieces of power that people draw magic from? I'm really curious how Maryuma will explain it or if he even will explain it.

2-the saving of carne village just gave him loyal supporters and giving the horns even turn out more epic than he could hope for
3-the potions incident work very well in the end
4-the kingdom incident got a criminal organisation,love of the country and respect off all the adventurers and a steady income and resupply of his goods.Sebas learn his lesson and is now more grateful toward Ainz
5-the invaders incident tested his defense systeem,made him realize his weakness for his guildmembers and made Albedo create a hit squad(which is necessary for Ainz to stay in power) and also made the npc very happy with new human resources(especially Entoma and kyoukukou)
6-his early misunderstanding about world domination turn out pretty well.There was no way a Overlord of nazarick is just gonna hide and live normally.World domination is a thing that had to happen and in the end even he himself had accepted that fact.
7-his role playing starting to bear fruit and just fuck Jirniv up and made his minions very happy.(a true king aura)
8-the whole hero crap just gave him a good foothold to start is conquest
9-His massacre which he himself think that should impress the empire just made sure no kingdom would fuck with him and maybe even request help from him.
Everything he do or misunderstanding he created will just increased the pace of his conquest and benefits Nazarick in the end. The Clemetine corpse incident might even turn out perfectly knowing the author.Even Zuranon will see Ainz as their god and leader or the Theocracy will see it as the return of one of their 6gods.

my almost baseless guess is that magic in the NW is maintained by a powerful wci activated in the past by one of the 8 kings of greed (I'm referring to the wci that can be used to ask the devs to change/make new rules in yggdrasil).
I said "almost" because the WN does confirm that Roberdyck is able to freely cast magic even with his memory of the gods swapped. basically.
I think that faith is not needed in the first place as long as you satisfy the class requirements to earn a divine magic related job class and level it up

While it's true that thanks to Ainz's bullshit masterplan E-rantel will not undergo an oppressive domination and Momon's figure turned out to be an essential cog for achieving the final objective, as noted by shalltear in vol 9, they could have taken over the empire in one move back then and the kingdom was already completely under nazarick's rule through the 8 fingers and renner

Ainz doesn't really care about world domination, he's just going blindly along with demiurge's plans , ever since vol 5.
- He didn't know what was going on in vol 6 and why, at all
- He thought that the workers raid was ONLY arranged to test Nazarick's defence system;
- He accepted the alliance with the emperor because he genuinely believed his words
neither Ainz or his NPCs could care less about the welfare of the humans under their domination. the only 2 points that made a difference to his NPCs were
1- by playing the part of the good rulers they would avoid scattering their fighting force all over the territory (which is an hassle but still feasible)
2- it would help creating a big anti-nazarick alliance and allow them to settle things with one war <-- ok I guess this could be considered a faster way of achieve world domination..
