is SoL the cancer killing anime?
Why didn't the Lucky Star art style catch on?
Is /v/ the cancer killing /a/?
It's fear of taking risks that is killing the industry. Studio's have become more and more cautious over the years. They pick safe material that already has an existing fanbase to adapt, they mostly stick to a few of the same type of series, they don't put too much budget into anything they can avoid, etc.

Well seeing as SoL represents like 10% of what is currently being made I'd say no

Because it was just a rung on the ladder towards Koyani's k-on face
>>138803536
this is why we have every season at least 3 harems and 2 sol/yuri anime plus something aimed at normalfags

Yuyushiki looks kinda similar

Lucky Channel was the only good thing about this show though.
No, awful CG is what's killing it
nah, it's the chemo actually
SoL is the only reason to watch anime these days, especially since mecha is dead.

CGI Lucky Star reboot when

By "fear of taking risks" you mean unambitious works, right? Because shows like Lucky Star and K-On were very ambitious. Tamako Market also had a lot of love put into it, as well as Tamayura.
Unambition and money grabbing is part of every industry and every genre.

Too stylistic, same reason why the Madoka/Hidamari style didn't influence more shows.
