I remember we done once in 3rd year, our school had some sort of tradition to do them in spring, they didn't call it culture festival and worked as a fund raising for the class yearly trip next year, it was fun because the normies in class chose a cafe/bar theme for our class and the cliches were real, well that was back in 2004 so it wasn't THAT common.
Funny thing this little guy in class, you know that guy that's always a bit shaddy but everyone talks to him and he's actually nice yet not enough to be friends with, planned a "game café shop" and we went with it, the teacher approved it because it looked good. Still i don't know how the guy managed to turn that shit into a casino, we raised like 10 thousand bucks from soccer moms gambling like hell on some sort of fruits roulette he made (some shit like you got a cupon from buying a $1 snack and another cupon for each dollar that they consume, then using that cupon in the roulette to get a prize or more cupons), and that was only half a day because the principal closed it down when like half of the parents started using money for the roulette without even getting near the bar.

My school did the same, and even the cafe stuff too so I guess its not uncommon.
were having multiple arts&crafts diy stations where people can come in and make things like their names in macaroni art or just some glue and glitter
