The way Tittyko matured as a character really appealed to me. Too many characters are either instantly mature or instantly immature and are consistently static, and often times in anime the only development girl characters ever get is romantic feelings for the male MC. Well it would have been better if the author did not piss of his biggest fanbase for that manga just because he cannot deal with the yurishippers and they garbage.

And the author foor some reason does not like those.
Years ago when they planned the anime I think an interview from a magazine got posted here on /a/.
In it he mentioned that he does not like them or what they do or so.
He explained that he originaly did not truly plan to go with a romance route and that it was supposed to be comedy and Keita's role was solely for that and nothing serious.
He did not like the Ichiko X Momiji ship and that is why he decided to make the Keita romance serious and go with it.
This apparently pissed of the fanbase and caused shit numbers.
Another case of author pissed of fans in Japan, similar to the virgin shit and so on.
