Favorite "obscure" anime?
Mine is Kino's Journey. It's a smart show that doesn't get the praise it deserves.

If you lurked for more than 5 fucking minutes you would know it gets plenty of praise here.
It's constantly listed among classics, even in more well known anime communities. And it comes up in any thread where "patrician taste" is mentioned.
Kino isn't obscure. Saying that my favorite "obscure" anime is probably Mouryou no Hako even though I doubt it's really obscure.

Holy shit, are you new?
Given the lack of actual input in this thread, i'll just contribute.
>Katanagatari
Simply because It takes me at least a year per time I hear someone besides me talk about it at all.
I literally just finished this show from the creator of Kanon and Sora no Method, what an underrated masterpiece. Don't let "boy meets girl" encounter fool you, it's more than that with a splash of KEY tones.

Shigofumi was pretty awesome. Had some touches of Hell Girl, but not as painful to watch.

Kino isn't obscure.
Allison to Lillia is obscure.
Obscure enough it's by the same author as Kino
Nisekoi is my favorite obscure anime.
Salaryman Kintaro

Lupin isn't obscure tho.Also quads.

Lupin?
Bartender is alright. I've never heard anyone talk about it.
A little less obscure, though pretty much the same kind of anime but different setting would be Mushishi. I like that too.
NTHT is a pretty obscure gem, ain't it? Even if it's edgy as hell, something about it was just special.
Golden Boy Kintaro - classic but too old for millenials
>>138774389
people talk about the next episode preview fake out all the time
>>138774434
Yeah that was voted AOTY 2007 in Japan. Still underwatched now.
3X3 thread?

Allison & Lillia is shit, though.

Out of all the times I've seen it mentioned I've never heard a negative word about it. KnT has a ridiculously dedicated cult following. It's also pretty /k/, which is always a bonus.

/a/ is getting more cancerous by day. It's sad.
