I used to watch them when they came out before, but I noticed there was a lack of immersion due to the lack of continuity, which was due to me watching the last part like 6 months ago, causing me to forget minor details and stuff, so I've decided to just wait until everything is adapted and watch it all again in release order. Bird hair grows extremely quickly, so she HAS to cut it or she would always end up with ankel length hair. And she just cut it any way she feels like because it wasn't going to last anyway.

She is a great character that is why. I mean, the anime missed a lot of the bro moments she has with Araragi, and a very important part in Nise where he says she is like his second mother now, but even still I can't imagine how someone can say she is boring unless they need a girl to have some gimmick with their interactions with the main character.
She is wise, cute, sexy without trying to be, and sharp. These shorts are just showing you what was apparent throughout all of Monogatari, Hanekawa needs her own adventures. Nisio made her a shadow heroine helping Araragi in the background which was the first mistake, and then not developing her more as an exorcist which is the second. The way things are going for her now, I can say he learned that lesson.

As a company, SHAFT probably decided that they couldn't handle making Kizu all in one go. Making three shorter movies makes it easier for their inability to manage their time. Look forward to how they would still end up delaying the next two films, because SHAFT being SHAFT and deadlines are merely guidelines.
