MotB is more of a sob story than Karin, and Touta's whole philosophy surrounding immortality is infinite time = infinite possibility. Since the overlying story is still largely about the dynamics and logistics of being immortal, it'd be thematically consistent for Touta to make his thesis proof-perfect by seducing MotB.
It doesn't hurt that Touta's goal is almost exactly the same as MotB's too, to eliminate all suffering.
