There aren't many, but pretty much just read V-Tamer and Xros Wars for the basics then Next if you fancy more (It's not as good as the others but not really bad either)
D-Cyber and Chronicle are in english but are also fairly short (14 and like 4 chapters each I think) so even if they aren't as good there's still no harm in checking them out.
Same with the very first Digimon manga C'mon Digimon, it's a one shot but its still good and shows a really early side of Digimon that just doesn't exist anymore.

Funny enough, i think most of the Adventure ultimates were gradually introduced in other media, Heraklekabuterimon and Houhoumon appear in the DW 1 game as perfect level, Rosemon existed in the Vtamer manga before appearing in Savers.

I don't think there's a direct relation between World 1 and Re:Digitize, at least not yet.
The first Story and Dawn/Dusk take place in different worlds, so does Cyber Sleuth.
Timeline is irrelevant when we're talking about Dimension hoppers. Specially Mirei. At very least the trip to fetch Ulforce V-Dramon from Rina's world happens after ReDigitize.

File Island comes from the Virtual Pets backstory, I think. V-Tamer namedrops it in the first chapter, and it is in a Digital World map released in mid-2000s along with Folder (whichis also from the early Virtual Pet days and main setting for V-Tamer) and places that never showed up in any anime and manga like WWW Contient and the Forest of the Gods
So yeah featuring File Island doesn't mean it's related, it's one of the stock names that get reused a lot like Net Ocean.

Frontier was pretty fun with an interesting and different concept with Digimon meets Super Sentai. It did lack in giving the other kids something to do when it shited to the Kouji and Takuya show. Still it's pretty good and all the characters came out the ordeal better people. Savers was full on shounen but really lacked development for it's characters and seemed to focus on the hot bloodedness. Akso they dropped the ball with not using the Demon Lords as a group.

It's my understanding that before Taichi and the others, there were a group of 5 chosen that had the same mission however they failed.
Do we have any information on these 5 chosen?
Were they killed or did they just fail and give up?
Do we have any idea who their partners were?
Additionally, it was revealed in 02 that Ken had a digivice and was originally supposed to join the 01 cast but was held behind and got stuck in his own digital world adventure with Ryo. During this time, Ken got infected with the initial dark seed that made him the Digimon Kaiser, right? I just want to make sure that was correct and I am remembering it correctly.

1. Ryo will make another grand appearance.
2. Ryo will reveal that the Ken Ichijouji we see as the Digimon Kaiser is a data copy
3. Ryo will reveal that the 02 cast is being held captive by clone Ken and using them as a power source to create evil digimon and distortions
4. Ryo will NOT currently have a Digimon partner, Monodramon is currently missing
5. Clones of Daisuke, Inoue, and Iori appear all wearing Digimon Kaiser style outfits
6. Mega/Ultimate forms will be created for their partner digimons to give them a presence as formidable foes, these could be forced evolutions like SkullGreymon and not be their natural line choice
7. New Jogress forms will exist in this manner: HeraclesKabuterimon and Seraphimon will Jogress, Holydramon and Hououmon will Jogress.
8. Hackmon makes himself known and Ryo naturally bonds with him
9. Ryo showcases Matrix evolution with Hackmon to the 01 cast
10. Ultimately the final battle with whatever is controlling the 02 chosen will end with Taichi and Yamato matrix evolving with Agumon and Gabumon

The problem there is that Digimon like Technodramon are from the Dot Art contests, so what you see on it's page is literally all there is.
I think the Dot Art contest was actually a clever way to do it, since you still could pretty much design it however you want and only had a very basic outline from the contest to go by.
