I think a easy explanation for a lot of the girl's more tricky clothing would just be clothing that is like, a flat material, and it wraps around the person, and then you velcro, or zip it, or button it up, like a jacket.
You could have something that you zip up fro papi's torso, and then also zip up her arms too if it has sleeves
