The majority of Tartaros battles were well done, with a couple of exceptions like Erza/Kyouka. They were playing with magical shit way beyond the level of the first chapters, but it was appropriate for the power levels and all of them were legitimately weighty for the characters in them.
Wendy/Ezel, Lucy/Tartaros and Gray/Silver were some of the best fights in the series in my opinion. Final fight with Mard Geer also flowed uncharacteristically well for a Fairy Tail final boss fight.
