well you go in expecting a lot of fighting and a noble warrior protecting a young prince but all you get is a story about 2 homeless kids getting married and the prince learning how to cure meat

Balsa is a interesting protagonist with excellent fighting scenes. Unfortunately she is stuck with protecting this boring child and most of the show surrounds their crappy adventures of bonding and him growing up. The high points of this show are she fighting and her backstory.
