What are the chances of a continuation?
Yes.

Very likely, I'd say. The manga just has to get far enough ahead to allow it.
The show is nearly caught up.

Just after season 2 of Planetes and season 3 of Stand Alone Complex.
It's a piece of cake.;_;

How many chapters did the show cover and how many are out now? How long would we have to wait for s2
no bc it's shit. and this ss we already have a space scifi series "Gundam" (IBO is great though) which far way better in term of drama, shounen, and etc. you should watch IBO as i suggest ;)

Nice bait, almost fell for it for a second.
Is this show good if I like slice-of-life shows?
Just wait for the manga to get more chapters out,I just want to see Mutta going into space animated with the first OP playing.

It's not really a slice-of-life since every characters have a goal that they actively try to work towards, though all the characters are relatively normal everyday people and you get to see their lives aswell so maybe give it a try.

I love this show

I believe they ended around chapter 200, there's 269 chapters now. Enough content for at least a 26 episode season. assuming they don't pad the fuck out of them again. But, you know Japan and continuations... all signs point to no.

and here we go

We've already been to the moon. In fact I was there last week. Oh, wait. That was yo momma's ass.

Pretty high i'd say.
I just wish they wait like a year more, and then go at it with reasonable pacing, like the first 30-40 episodes of the first series.
It became kind of slow after that, with certain episodes having almost zero content.

>It's not really a slice-of-life since every characters have a goal that they actively try to work towards
That doesn't mean it's not a slice of life.
