east blue = fishman island + punk hazard (no real threats)
alabasta (warlord takes over an earthy high climate island) = dressrosa (warlord takes over an earthy high climate island)
Skypiea (sky island) = Zou (...sky island...)
Water 7 (and subsequent robin retrieval from ennies lobby) = Wano Kingdom (and subsequent sanji retrieval from whole cake island)*

time skip = a second time skip
I believe another time skip is 100% necessary for Luffy to become strong enough to be the pirate king. Hopefully the third part won't follow the exact same formula as the first two. I think it'll offer a resolution based around getting to Raftel and taking care of some final loose ends in the plot like the blank century and shit.
*However, they might visit those islands in the reverse order.. or at the same time for that matter, now that the strawhats are more than just a handful of people on one boat.
**Strawhat & Big Mom merger that will result from Sanji's marriage. This is the only way they could possibly ever take down Kaido. Blackbeard is also quite possibly taken care of during this war. I just don't see him as the final enemy in One Piece. It's more likely to be someone we haven't met yet.

As for Blackbeards buildup, I disagree. What buildup? His story is pretty much over in my opinion. He got the fruit and the crew he was searching for already. I don't think there's anything else we still don't know about him

Jack was simply getting nowhere fighting the minks except losing more and more men as the fight went on, and lost his patience as a result.
