The source material is a 6 - 7 hour experience. It'd make an excellent OVA. The action scenes would make for some of the best in the medium. Also written by Gen Urobuchi.

It's not as bad as the LN/anime crap he's done, but it pales in comparison to anything he did up until SnU. If you don't speak moonrunes, you'll likely get an official english release of Django by the end of the year.

ZIZZ's music made the game 9/10 to me. It should stay a short VN, there's nothing that memorable about the plot to make it into anime.
I do prefer it to Saya since all of Saya characters are insufferable and at least in Kikokugai Taolo is pure and Ruili was kinda interesting.

I can't imagine it selling well. It's not moe, not a part of some popular franchise with lovable characters, main "heroine" is that kind of yandere even otaku wouldn't enjoy. Seiyuu and writer's name are good I guess, if you add some good director and studio(NOT fucking ufotable and their sketchy animation) to that, it kinda might work.
Still, it's old and busted(I love it though), anime producers would rather have Urobuchi write something new and see if they can sell it.
Not sure it'd translate well into animation. Taoluo doesn't say much until the encounter with Haojun, and Urobuchi's expressive writing style would be lost. Still, the action scenes would be top tier, and if they kept the original ending and plot twist, people would want to kill themselves/Urobuchi.
