Lets see at Archer for a second, and now i know why Nasu hasn't released anything about him so far but only vague clues.
1- He was involved with ISIS when he was alive, he maybe murdered some of them or ally with them or something, all it ended in a lot of shit and was maybe a total drama.
2- After he became a CG, he was summoned many times in the same scenario, killing off arabic people, maybe from ISIS, maybe refugees, after all CGs kill whatever even if they are innocent so that is already a mindbreaking experience along with the eternal suffering and having to repeat the same scenario in literally every parallel world.

reality marbles really need that long chant to activate? Iskandar activated it with a simple swing of a little sword, Kiritsugu activated it with two words. If i had to guess, Shirou was inspired by how a Nasheed is made.
4- The military costume he wears, probably secret ISIS costume (excluding the shroud) and on top of that, the shroud which is supposed to be from a saint, okay, he was really into it when he ended up with the military black costume and the shroud, right? religion, the military and all that crazy things ISIS is involved with.
Archer's background story could actually be the most real thing we get to be honest, coming from a very chuuni franchise it is surprising and i am surprised why they don't release anything about it, they can't and in the UBW anime it was already too much, unless Japan wants nukes everyday and other things i am sure Nasu won't release anything anytime soon.

Check this video, its a nasheed talking about how islamic people want some kind of hero or one that comes from heavens as a messiah.
When you think about it, a magic user with a hero complex going into these lands seems like a total messiah, someone who can trace weapons on top of that.
