Sonora was a cunt who bitched at Yura for no reason in her first official match. Yura was scared, it's only a game, so Sonora should have cooled the fuck down and not made out surrendering to be the worst thing in the world when the message up to then was just to have fun. Then she bitches at Yura for getting too into it.
Then the team bitches at Yura for finally taking the game seriously. And then when they win by false means and Yura owns up to it, they bitch at her again, even though they wouldn't have even come close to winning without Yura's efforts.
Frankly, she didn't deserve to be shit on as much as she did.

Yuri didn't know what to do with herself and the girls didn't really know what they wanted from her either, if this were a more realistic anime Yuri probably would of committed suicide at the end as she clearly had a whole lot of mental issues people like her, people who post on /a/ tend to have.

Nothing. She was USED from the beginning and then dumped by everyone and then made out to be the bad guy and it was bullshit. She started insecure, shy, she was just trying to get along in school. She could have done that. You forgot that in addition normals lie about that too. They'll still CLAIM they're doing it seriously and that they care, and then they'll get angry if someone else does it better and tell them to "lighten up". If Yura had more life experience she'd realize the rest of the club just wanted another useful warm body and didn't actually sink that much of themselves into it, but she didn't so she got taken in. But it was set up and then they did nothing with it. That was frustrating. There was a really clear ending that should've happened and it didn't.
In my mind, the way this show happened was that some writer got put on a project he didn't give a fuck about for an adaptation of something unpopular with no story. So they created this character story about Yura's insecurities and frustrations, and at the very last episode, a producer went "what the fuck" and ran the whole thing back. I think boredom and confused marketing are the only motivations that could result in this clusterfuck.
