I really want Endo Hiroki to do a character's total lifespan for his next work. His age progression is always exceptional and abundant timeskips feel natural. I'd like to see a character grow not just to adulthood but further, and have marriage and kids and the problems related to those.

No, that was some awkward wording, but it really does stick out from the rest of the manga to me. It's mostly a tame/mundane story about Meguru, and then there's the rival with all the edge and yakuza ties popping up every so often. It doesn't feel fully integrated, and I suspect a lot of that part of the manga is Endo indulging himself when he feels like a change of pace.
