Love Live S2 was absolutely brilliant. I still haven't fully recovered from how good it was. It was *almost* Clannad AS tier. All those feels, the impending inevitability of shutting down their school idol group because people graduate and move on, all those extremely well fleshed out characters which suddenly gained so much depth they became very real and human-like, yet incredibly funny and entertaining at the same time... and then they had to ruin it with ending that literally advertised upcoming movie which was subpar and ruined everything they built the second season towards. If they hadn't gotten greedy and left the last two minutes out, the S2 would have been 10/10 anime easily, rating I give out to truly exceptional ones (this far only 7/382 on my list). I'm dead serious.
