Kouko freaking sucks though. At least, the way they write her sucks. At first introduction she was just some boy-obsessed stalker with no personality characteristics. Then suddenly she had feelings for the MC out of the blue. I thought it was a joke at first considering there was no reasonable build up for them to suddenly being in love. And then next thing you know she's completely forgotten her first boytoy and becomes obsessive about Banri.
The development, or lack thereof, of her character was just confusing. The only real personality or background I got from her is "spoiled rich girl" which is a pretty shitty way to frame your main heroine. And whenever things went dramatic, she went from 0 to psychotic evil bitch in seconds. It felt like she was multiple different characters depending on the situation. Just poorly characterized overall.
