Good news, everyone! I have managed to crack the code behind the mysterious Konosubian runes.

Translation: He is a hikikomori high school student who likes video games, anime, and manga, who he dies unexpectedly in a traffic accident, becomes fellow travellers with Aqua, and is reincarnated in a parallel universe.

I'd imagine id kind of common knowledge in the sense that people should know about it but not many actually do because who gives a shit. Though people who he go nervous over seeing it were people who probably would totally know these things because they actually paid attention in class.

Sadly Aqua is literally the worst companion to have in terms of growth.
All her stats are already at the highest they will ever reach (she literally can't increase them, as a goddess she starts with her stats maxed out) and she had already learned every Arch-Priest skill at level 1 due to starting with practically infinite skill points (due once again to being a goddess).
Truth is that this is actually a bad thing, her strength at level 1 is the same as her strength at level 100 and her intelligence will ALWAYS be below average (because her maximum Int is below average STARTING Int for humans).
Aqua is strong in terms of low level adventurers but she will quickly get outpaced by others who aren't completely retarded and shit (and who can actually increase their stats when they level, increasing level for Aqua literally does nothing).
Besides, it's been stated numerous times before that the main reason that Kazuma's party is so shit is that they have god-awful personalities and don't make the most of their potential as a result. Stats aren't the issue, Kazuma needs to be a jack of all trades to compensate for the holes in formation that his party member's shitty personalities create.

Can RPGs transcend the DD-tank-healer trichotomy?
It's so prevalent, you'd think people would try to come up with something new. Then again, damage dealing and tanking, killing and trying not to have allies be killed, seem to be at the heart of armed conflict between groups. The importance morale, supply, formations and terrain had is usually ignored, though.

The reason the trinity is so prevalent is that it's simply taking specialization/optimization to the three most basic aspects of combat in RPGs.
Damage, Mitigation, and Healing.
Having 1 person specialized in each turns out better in nearly all number based systems rather than having 3 people average in all 3.
Attempts to move away from the trinity either move backwards towards soloable content where damage plus dodging(replaces mitigation and healing) is possible or even further extreme specialization(which is hard as shit to balance well).
