Yes. Depending on the age range here, we grew up with Toonami, Kids WB, and Fox Kids. I grew up running home after school to catch Toonami from 4-7, then Saturday mornings for WB and Fox shows.

For the longest time in high school I thought anime was for weebs/losers and I didn't want to be apart of that (I didn't even realize stuff like Pokemon was anime). The show that got me into anime was Squid Girl and now I've been slowly watching more stuff. I've only seen like maybe 30 series, but I'm really slow and not that into it I guess, but I do enjoy it.

I'm young enough to have been introduced to anime by things like yu-gi-oh, but my earliest experiences were things like *robotech*, the speed racer localization, Samurai Pizza cats, and maison ikkoku. Later it was cardcaptor sakura and such. So stuff like yu-gi-oh came much later and I never liked DBZ.

I went from Digimon to Yu-Gi-Oh (both English dubs) to YuGiOh GX (dubbed in my local language, but like, by 4kids so more or less a literal translation of the 4kids English dub) to YuGiOh 5Ds (sub, as season 1 was airing) to HxH to Gintama.
It should be noted that we also got ultra censored local dubs of HxH and Detective Conan among others, which i would watch until i reached the age where the blatant censoring of the most mundane plot points while leaving in all the murder and violence got to me. (like taking out Nen in HxH first season while keeping the head cutting heart crushing blood splattering gorefests)
Sailormoon got me into anime. Not even sure how since I am a guy, didn't fap to the show, wasn't into genderbending/sissy shit and it is only recently that I want to be the little girl.

A combination of those as well as the various Japanese video games I played as a kid -- Shenmue and the Dreamcast as a whole in particular -- is where I place the blame on my current state of being.
I remember back when Cartoon Network first started out, they played some mature anime movies late at night and I caught Vampire Hunter D (beginning with the detached talking hand crawling in the mud) which had commercials for Twilight Of The Cockroaches and another I can't recall. I also saw Armitage III: Poly-Matrix and Galaxy Express 999 way back when SyFy got its start and loved them. These were all during the time anime infomercials came on late night television promising that "Akira makes Blade Runner look like Disney Land!".

I was home sick from school that day, so I set my VCR to record it so I could pass it around to my friends missing out while at school. I watched all that stuff. I also remember reading manga as early as second or first grade, I'm not quite sure. I would have furious faps to Bulma's nude tits in Dragonball at like age 8. I was conscious of the difference between western cartoons and anime even back then. Somewhere in the 3rd grade I was introduced to Naruto and I became a big fan of that, then after a while I got into Bleach and would occasionally watch stuff that wasn't part of the big 3.
Watched BT'X, Zenki, Voltes V, and all sorts of maintream shonen as a kid. Didn't think much of it, but AXN shoved me right back into it with Gatekeepers, Steam Detective, Sakura Taisen, and a whole slew of other titles I can't seem to remember right now.

Pretty much. Cardcaptor Sakura also helped me push towards liking anime more and its the only anime that I revisited and actually ended up liking even more then back then. Can't say the same thing about Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh, Sailor Moon and especially Dragonball Z.
