It depends on how you look at it.
See, on one level, this isn't a very good story. That is, narratively. There's no real conflict, because Tatsuya is effectively immortal and invincible. He is an unstoppable force in a world that is made of paper and cardboard.
On another level, however, it's an amazing story in that it's the Objectivist dream come true. Imagine a universe where Hitler was right: The Aryan race did exist. And after they won, a generation later, the children developed superpowers because of their pure blood.
If you're the kind of guy who's read so many stories about heroic underdogs to the point you fucking hate them and every YA adult protagonist ever written, you'll love Mahouka. The very first arc has a spunky kendo girl who is basically every shitty YA female protagonist ever written.
At the end of the arc, she is completely and totally crushed, and only the hero's benevolence (He's not even sexually interested in her. At most, he pities her, in that 'nobleman being generous to the filthy, unearned peasants' way) stops her from being erased.
It's amazing. If you read the series with the mindset that yes, these people are the superior race and - like you'd expect in a universe where 'will' and 'pluckiness' don't count for a lot - they're going to fucking steamroll everything.
The future is Oniisama's boot on your face. Forever. It's like 1984, but the Party is the heroic protagonist keeping the fucking proles in their place.

Also, he kills a lot of people. He kills them the way you'd casually kick over a nest of ants. No angst, no malice, it's just something he does. 10 GO TO 20 20 KILL CHINESE.
When you see things that way, when you realize that Tatsuya is effectively a walking zombie that is also the perfect man, the books become something transcendent.
